Christmas holiday in the mountains - always the best option

Vánoční dovolená na horách je vždy nejlepší volba - ať už v Alpách se zárukou vysněžených a upravených sjezdovek nebo na staré rodinné chatičce na moravsko-slovenském pomezí, kde s přáteli oslavujeme už léta Silvestry. 

Korutanské stylové hospůdky nabídly tentokrát posezení, kde vás zahřívá jak pravá pec, tak horký Gluhwein nebo horká čokoláda nebo cokoliv si kdo přeje. Moc ráda objevuji  taková místa, která evokují typickou atmosféru starých časů a kde je potěšením odpočívat.  Škoda, že je to už za námi.
Christmas holiday in the mountains is always the best bet - either in the Austrian Alps where snow-covered and well maintained ski slopes are guaranteed, or in the old family chalet on the Moravian-Slovakian border where New Year´s Eve is traditionally celebrated with a group of long standing friends.
This time, the stylish mountain pubs in Karnten offered apres-ski in various forms, e.g. sitting at an original  oven stove being heated not only by the fire but also with hot Gluhwein or hot chocolate or whatever you wanted. I love discovering such new places with typical  old times atmosphere where it´s a delight to relax.
It´s a pity it´s over.
